Tom works as a Senior Consultant with ISN Virtual Worlds, to develop new business and partnership channels.

Tom Presotto is president of EVOG (Evolve to Grow) an IT consulting shop that provides strategic advices and innovative marketing & communication services to “IBM i” IVSs and SIs in Italy.

Evog delivery model is based on a network of partners highly skilled in specific IT areas: Microsoft .NET, IBM i, Java, Web, PHP, modernization, multimedia, etc.

Tom collaborates with Duke Italy (Penton group) as author of articles, mainly addressed at the audience of the Business Decision Maker, and as a speaker at public events.

Tom works closely with the IBM Power Systems business unit and with the main IBM international business partners who provide solutions to modernize “legacy” RPG applications.

Tom started his career in 1979 with IBM as instructor to teach developers the use of the first microprocessors. Two years later, he joined a development team responsible to build the first image processing system for the IBM scientific research labs. Lately he became manager of a team in charge to develop specific hardware and software solutions for the IBM enterprise customers. In 1993, he was assigned to Taiwan to train the local OEMs to develop solutions for Windows NT running on the IBM/Apple/Motorola PowerPC platform. In 1996, he was promoted to Business Development Manager with the goal to foster the IBM solutions running Microsoft software in the European countries.

From 2000 to 2006, he worked for Microsoft Italy as coordinator of a team responsible to push the adoption of the Microsoft products/technologies within the main enterprise Italian customers. He reported directly to Microsoft corporation in US.

At the beginning of 2008, after one year in the position of Italian General Manager for Sykora-ML (IBM I migration tool), he started his own business.

After completing his studies first in Saint Gallen in Switzerland and then in London in the UK, Mattia has begun his career in Milano, working as a marketing & communication consultant for various brands in the fashion and consumer goods, also covering internal roles in some multinational companies, both as marketing and sales director.

After 12 years of various international experiences (US, China, France, Eastern European Countries) his passion for technology and innovation brought Mattia to found ISN Virtual Worlds, a leading service provider for virtual worlds, web 3D technologies and artificial intelligence applications.

Mattia is currently ISN Virtual Worlds’ CEO and Partner.

Mattia is an expert and evangelist of virtual worlds and immersive web 3D technologies.

Member of IEEE 3D Simulation Standards Group.

Member of MIMOS, Modeling and SImulation Association.
